Why Choose Career Education?
The career programs at Jefferson College Area Technical School (ATS) help students begin preparation for a great career while still in high school. Our career programs develop in each student: • Occupational Skills necessary to secure initial employment in the field in which the student has been trained • A Background of related information including both theory and practice, necessary in the field of choice • Personal and Social Traits necessary for initial employment and for continuing success • Leadership Skills are an important part of day to day instruction and students learn the importance of leadership in the workplace. Classes are taught with an “applied” approach that challenges you to use your hands, as well as your head. The practical applications make subject matter eaiser to understand and more interesting. When you finish high school, you’ll have a good foundation for beginning work on an Associate’s Degree and in some programs earn free college credit. Who Should Enroll
