Why did Arthur Miller write the play?

An interview with him was published when the movie came out, “Why I Wrote The Crucible: An Artist’s Answer to Politics” 11. My teacher told me that if I were able to get Arthur Miller to come to our classroom, even just for a minute to answer my question, then I would get an A+ for the rest of the school year. Considering the fact that Arthur Miller is still alive, how may I contact him?
