Why did God have to start over again with Noah and family?
Because everybody on earth but Noah and his family had turned against God. So because he loved Noah and his family because they loved him they saved him. its whats going to happen some day in the future. The flood story has a parallel with the end of the world. Most people will turn from God but a small group will cling to him and will be saved for eternal rewards were as most of the others will burn in the lake of fire. But yeah God could have just hit em all with lightning but whats the fun in that.
The thoughts and imaginations of men were wicked and evil and no one but Noah and his family knew God as their Lord and Saviour. So God wiped all mankind off the face of the earth and saved just eight souls. Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives and then mankind began again. Sin has to be punished, either in this life or in the next. The next life for all who do not repent is Hell.
Almighty God did not have to re- create mankind…because Noah was a descendant of Adam, the line of man was continuous,,,all that is missing is the large numbers,,, It proves that god’s original plan was correct… to make a man whose descendants wouls worship God of their own volition and choice… Of course, many did not and were destroyed but the principle remains…no further creation was necessary.
