Why did God make the rainbow ?
The earth was flooded because of sin men with men, women with women and all kinds of evil man could think of. It sadden God’s heart and He was sorry He created man but there was one man who found favor with God and that was Noah. God instructed Noah to build a (3) three story ark to hold his family and two of every animal (male and female) for reproduction after the flood. The earth flooded for 40 days destroying every living creature except those aboard the ark. When the water receeded the earth was replenished again and as a token of a covenant between God and the earth when He bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud and He would remember His covenant with every living creature. Genesis 9:12-15 Look at the world today looks almost the same description of the days of Sodom and Gormorrah.
