Why did Hitler rule Germany not Austria?
Well many other people have a better and more historical explanation than me. But need not forget, The Aryans, “The superior race” Were those with blonde hair and blue eyes. Hitler didn’t favor those with dark hair/dark skin/or dark eyes. (My theory is that of self-hate. That Hitler wasn’t an Aryan, and his self hate was only soothed when he killed others like him…) Anyhow, if I’m correct, Australians don’t have the Aryan Race features, thus Hitler’s “prophetic words” (so is said by his followers) would have gone down the drain. He would have been proven the world’s greates hypocrate.
This would not have worked out at all, firstly, Hitler came to power with the help of others especially the Thule Society, after all, it was the Thule Society members that helped him ‘kick-off’ his political career. The Thule Society was a front for a whole web of Secret Societies which had a similar Racist and Anti-Semitic occultist roots. In the early days of the 1920s the Nazi party after it had been formed(1920/21)) practically had no funds, so the Society helped them in this area as well. Secondly, Hitler held great contempt for Austrian politics, he used to visit the Austrian chamber public gallery to witness speakers in the house (as he termed it) carry on like old women constantly squabbling over issues that got nowhere. He realized very early to his way of thinking that if any changes were to be made it certainly would not be through Austrian politics. Hitler was born in Austria but was ethnically German. Germany is a country with political borders, but to Hitler this also coincided with the homeland of a “race” of people to which he belonged. Belonging to this race, which he saw as superior, is what made him want to be in Germany and be a part of the political movement there.
Hitler always considered Austria part of Germany, Germany had only been a unified-country 18 years prior to Hitler’s birth in 1889. Austria had been a top leading German state for centuries inside the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation when that dissolved in 1806 you had all separate German states like Bavaria, Prussia, Austria etc etc all spoke German, all came from the same stock. (German Confederation) then in 1866 with the intense Pan-Germanism movement and to see whether Greater Germany or Greater Austria or the German Confederation without any Austrian lands would prevail the German Empire the two most powerful German states (Prussia and Austria) fought eachother and Prussia defeated Austria and forced Austria out of Germany and the unification of Germany happened in 1871 with Little Germany prevailing, Austrians still considered themselves Germans first and foremost and in 1918 after the Austro-Hungarian Empire dissolved the official name of Austria was German-Austria with t
