Why did man middle-class Americans dislike labor unions in the late 19th century?

0

The middle class disliked labor unions in the 19th century for the same reasons they dislike them today. 1. They were afraid of communism 2. They were afraid of losing their wealth 3. they were afraid of losing their power and control Labor unions can be very good for workers (and management) and can also be very corrupt and therefore not good for anyone but those who are corrupt. Our organizations are only as good as the people running them.
