Why did my VW jetta 2006 power door, mirror, window and lock from the driver side stopped working?
I have an issue, hope someone can help. I own a 2006 volkswagen jetta and the power mirror, window and lock from the driver side door stopped working all of the sudden. Remote won’t work, it won’t roll windows up or down, not even with the key. All the other sides work just fine. I removed the driver’s door panel and everything goes to a module, I wonder if this is my problem. Also the driver’s door pin does not work, I close the door and the light on door and cluster are still on. It wanted to work for a couple of minutes when I hold door open half way (may be just coincidence?) PLEASE HELP!!! A: If it’s only that door, you need a circuit diagram of that car to trace the possible “cut” points”. As it is the door, most likely spot IS right at the door where it goes into the body. When did you bought it? It should still be under 3-yr warranty unless you put a lot of miles on it already. In any case, leave it to a real mechanic or a dealer.
