Why did the band guns n roses break up?
Ignore this stuff that is written above me. Firstly you have to remember, Axl and Slash were never super close, they worked together, but they weren’t like brothers. Anyhow Steven Adler was the first to go because of his drug problems (this coming from a group of other drug addicts saying he was too bad ha), but yeah his usage got incredibly insane and he almost caused Axl’s gf Erin Everly to OD at the time. Then Izzy Stradlin left because he got tired of playing the big venues and he thought it had just gotten too big. The rest of the band carried on with replacements and everything was okay until around 1994. Gilby Clarke, Izzy’s replacement, was let go because he wasn’t needed at the time but then Axl brought in an old friend to help them record a song for the Interview with the Vampire soundtrack. Matt Sorum didn’t like him so that caused problems and Matt ended up walking out on the band and when he came back Axl fired him (He was a replacement too). Axl, Slash, Duff and a few oth
