Why did the Blitz end?
Why does anything end? The reason is because everything in this World has a beginning and an end. That’s how it is, no use arguing. In the war, Churchill said this is not the end, it is not the beginning of the end, neither is it the end of the beginning… He was drunk at the time. The blitz stopped because Germany ran out of bombs. They did however, drop leaflets and I have one here. It says ‘Ich wüsste gerne ob das irgendwo drinsteht oder ob ich zur Blutuntersuchung gehen muss.
