Why did the industrial revolution take place in britain and not anywhere else?
You forgot to mention the inventions that contributed to the Industrial Revolution. At the heart of Britain’s industrialisation appeared a group of like-minded men with the ability to invent new systems – and of course the north-east of England had the resources both man and natural, to complete the industrialisation. In addition there was the British efficiency and doggedness that saw things through to the end.
