because the body is still under development at age 18 and alchohol is worse for you and easier to become addicted to. Actually studies show that the body and brain arent fully developed until age 23-25 so we really shouldnt drink till then but not many people are ever going to wait that long.

because 18 year olds are too immature and irresponsible to drink. So are 21 year olds. I think the drinking age should be 25, personally.
