I agree, and I know that when you are panicking, you don’t know what you’re doing, but I don’t think that anyone deliberately looks for the phone number of a news station and rings it before calling the police when their child has been ‘abducted’. Apparently, it took them quite a while to call the police too. I can’t believe that someone would phone a news station before calling the police if their child was missing. In the immortal words of Auntie Phil: What a LUDICROUS thing to do!
