Why did vegeta kill nappa in dbz?
In my opinion Vegeta was ashamed to call Nappa his ally because he got beat by a low class and Vegeta felt this reflected badly on himself. Also at this point in DBZ Vegeta still believed power was one of the few things that mattered and seeing Nappa get beaten by Goku gave him the impression that he Nappa was weak therefore Vegeta decided that Nappa didn’t deserve to live. It’s also possible that Vegeta was just acting a bit crazy out of fear and killed Nappa to vent his frustration.
