Why Did we Bring Bible Story Time to North Crest Apartments?
“Ten years ago I began bringing children from this apartment complex in to the Church of God, Tuesday night Bible Story Time. But because the van I was driving had only enough room for six children, I found myself, too often, having to turn children away who wanted to come. It was very hard. One evening I was returning to Church after one of these episodes; praying for the kids at this complex. So many wanted to come, and needed to come. This was a formative time; groundwork was being laid in their lives that would determine the direction of their futures. They needed encouragement to live right; they needed BST. What was I going to do? The answer came to me, “You’re going to have to take it to them.” I knew that this was what God wanted me to do. “I told a friend from Church about what God had shown me concerning having a Bible Story Time at the complex and she said the same thought had come to her.
