Why did you join A.P. Moller – Maersk ?
I joined A.P. Moller – Maersk in the merger with P&O Nedlloyd in 2005. Before that I worked at the Corporate Head Office of P&O Nedlloyd in Rotterdam where I was in charge of the coordination of procurement of contracts with port and terminal operators world-wide. What is your job about? My job is based in Singapore since January 2009 after having spend 3 years in Copenhagen. In Singapore I am tasked with setting up an office with sourcing specialist from different backgrounds who are able to provide sourcing capabilities to all A.P. Moller – Maersk entities in the South East Asia Region. What are you working with at the moment? The job is extremely varied. First of all we are working a lot for the Line and helping them in negotiating contracts with terminals in many countries in the region.
