Why do ALDI baskets show as 'n/a' except for the basic staples basket?
ALDI supermarkets are a bit different from the other supermarkets in our survey. They don't always stock established brands. But that's no reason to exclude ALDI from the survey. Instead, we've selected a number of essential products which we call the 'Basic Staples' basket where you can compare ALDI prices to other supermarkets. This is only a starting point, however, and we plan to work on this one to improve the coverage of ALDI products.
