Why do Catholic School girls were those skimpy little skirts? Isn it promiscuity against Christianity?

I just started going to a catholic school this year and I know what you’re talking about. The girls in my class are pretty “promiscuous”, to say the least. Maybe it’s rebellion? My catholic theology teacher seems to think it’s because this generation was poorly educated in the ways of the church.
