They think it makes them look tough and quite often encourage the dog to fight with other dogs that belong to their mates. It’s the new “in” thing with chavs and is totally dispicable and they relish the thought that passers by are or other dog owners are frightened of their dogs. Just another example of how our society is fast going downhill.
