Why do Christians use escapism saying that the Old Testament laws are for Jews only?
I would love to answer this question and I thankyou for the oppertunity. The reason that so many Christians feel uncomfortable by answering these questions is because the truth goes against “society” so much so, that for the last few centuries much of what the Bible teaches us has been swept under the rug. Christians take the stance that “by Grace we are saved” and then use this as an excuse to ignore God, which is exactly what the Bible tells us not to do. Christians today will tell you the we are freed from the Law, and they are telling you the Truth. However they do not understand what this means because the truth is not in them. 1 John 2:3-6 says: ‘We know that we have come to know him IF WE OBEY HIS COMMANDS. The man that says “I know him,” but DOES NOT do what he COMMANDS is a LIAR, and the TRUTH is NOT in him. But if anyone OBEYS his word, God’s love is trully made complete in him.
