Why do conservatives believe that immigration is bad for America?
Uh, there are liberals that believe ILLEGAL immigration is bad for this nation, too. I have no issue with immigration just so long as it is done LEGALLY. I have issue with people BREAKING OUR LAWS to come here for their own selfish reasons. They take from our children by entering our public school systems that are already overcrowded (often without the districts knowing how many kids will be there until day 1 of school). They take the cash they make and ship it out of this nation (the #1 source of foreign money to Mexico is NOT foreign aid; it is the money that illegal immigrants send back home to the families). I think it no more right that they pick and choose the laws they follow than I think I should be able to break a law because I don’t like it. Hmmm. . . screw that “grand theft-auto” thing – I want that new Mercedes! It is a slap in the face not only to this nation, but to those individuals that scrimp and save and jump through the hoops to bring their families here legally; onl
