Why do I have to complete continuing education in radiology to remain a registered radiologic technologist?

Radiology Continuing Education in the form of approved CE credits is a mandatory requirement for renewal of registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). A Technologist registered with the ARRT will have a professional license number. Technologists are required to complete and report a minimum of 24 ARRT approved CE credits in a biennium (two year cycle). All CE credits on our site are approved by the ASRT for Category A credit. The ARRT accepts ASRT approved credits for reporting purposes. You can take our credits with confidence for reporting to the ARRT and your state licensing agency.
