Why do I have to have Xrays every year?
Dental radiographs (x-rays) allow us to evaluate areas of your mouth not visible with the naked eye. Tooth decay between teeth, periodontal (gum) disease that affects the jaw bones, infections involving the teeth, and other abnormalities are just some of the changes we can detect with x-rays. Having x-rays once a year ensures that we can promptly address any potential problems and minimize the severity of the problem.
