Why do I have to pay for Bank Holidays and staff training days when the nursery is closed?

0

The nursery is open for 247 days a year, closing for 8 statutory Bank Holidays, 3 days at Christmas and two staff training days annually. Fees are calculated on the basis of full-time attendance for 242 days to allow for occasional illness/absence. Part-time places are provided for the convenience of parents, but because of their impact on staffing and on our ability to fill the remainder of the place, such places are more expensive. Therefore part- time places are charged at the full daily rate regardless of when Bank Holidays and staff training days fall.
