Why do I need to use a waterproofing spray on a GORE-TEX® shoe, given GORE-TEX® is 100% waterproof?
Using a waterproofing spray on a GORE-TEX® shoe can protect the outside of the shoe better. Whilst the GORE-TEX® membrane is guaranteed to keep your feet dry and avoid any leakage, it obviously cannot prevent the outer of the shoe from coming into contact with water in the first place. Making use of the spray will maintain the shoe better.
