Why do Jews show so much hate towards Christians?
Two main reasons. 1. Christians represent a false messiah to the Jews- that is Jesus. Christians know that Jesus is God in the flesh- but the Jews see this as blasphemy against God. Jews believe Christians are anti-God. 2. Jews lump all Christians and Christianity together. They do not see the difference between Catholic and Baptist (just an example-don’t get angry). The Catholic armies killed many innocent Jews during the crusades. Jews blame all Christians for this even though there were only Catholics back then. Also Hitler exterminated many millions of Jews during WW II with the blessings of the Vatican. The Vatican even aided in the escape of many Nazi’s at the end of the war. Germany is the (old) Holy Roman Empire. If Hitler had won WW II, the pope would have crowned him as Emperor of the revived Empire, and catholicism would have been the world religion by force. The Jews know this. Unfortunately they do not understand that Christianity has broken free from the Catholic church.
That is quite an overgeneralization. I am Jewish and I do not hate Christians. I have problems with judgmental Christians who are more than happy to tell me I am going to hell because I am not saved. I have problems with evangelical Christians on street corners wanting to talk to me and not taking no for an answer. I have issues with Christian preachers that preach how awful Jews are and how we killed Jesus (we didn’t the Romans did). However I think that represents such a small minority within the Christian community I know I cannot judge all Christians the same way. I respect Christians who respect me. That is the bottom line. Show me respect and allow me to practice my faith as I choose and I will do the same.
