Why do kids always ask where is the Easter bunny at such a young age?
The Easter Bunny (or Easter Hare) is a mythical character depicted as an anthropomorphic rabbit. In legend, the creature brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy and toys to the homes of children on the night before Easter. The Easter Bunny will either put the baskets in a designated place or hide them somewhere in the house for the children to find when they wake up in the morning. The Easter Bunny is very similar in trait to its Christmas holiday counterpart, Santa Claus, as they both bring gifts to good children on the night before their respective holiday. Its origin mentioned in print as early as 1620; can be traced to the German fertility goddess Ēostre. Sources: http://en.wikipedia.
The Easter Bunny is one of the legends that we tell our children about at a very young age. Since we tell them that the Easter Bunny will bring them presents and candy on Easter morning, we cannot be surprised when they ask us about it. Kids love to get presents and so they will naturally be very curious about the Easter Bunny and when he will visit them. Keep in mind that even if you don’t teach your own children about the Easter Bunny, they will likely hear about him from their friends, so be prepared for their questions. Sources: It is my opinion.
