Because high heels make your legs look sexy and elongated, and apparently men like the gap at the top of the stocking where is shows a bit of leg. Personally I hate stockings, they are uncomfortable and annoying to wear, they must have been invented by a man as no woman in her right mind would invent something so horribly uncomfortable to wear.
