Why do nose piercings grow over so quickly?
So when you remove jewellery before the allowed time (based on the average healing period for a healthly individual following aftercare instructions) the tissue layers may close quickly, but not actually heal up. To get jewellery back in when this happens an insertion taper ( only available at body piercing studios ) is used to gently open the piercing path to allow jewellery to be reinsterted. Some studios charge a small fee for doing this for you.
