Why do oil and food prices rise during a war?

I guess food might be inflation, but oil usually aises because more oil is diverted to war efforts. In this war, however, I really don’t think that that is why oil prices are going up. I’m just making speculation, but I’m guessing that it is because we invaded a country with oil reserves that we were buying off of and now maybe we aren’t getting oil from them anymore or something. That’s just my guess though, I haven’t researched that one. I guess the first answerer is probably right for the food part.
