Why do paper lanterns cost so much?
While paper lanterns are probably the most dramatic look we offer, they are also the most labor intensive. To properly install approximately 50 lanterns takes one person about 5 hours to do right. It can be tedious work. There are a couple of part-timers who, after the fourth hour of hanging lanterns, were found next to the hotel dumpster in a fetal position sobbing openly.
