Why do people join the military when they have kids?

Too bad a great veteran and hero like your dad ended up with a child like you. Based on your logic, no one in the military should have kids, because it’s obvious if you think they should be allowed to enter with kids, then you probably think they shouldn’t be allowed to have kids once in. In that scenario you’d be asking career leaders to forgo having children. Your ideals are wrong in this case. What you, and your siblings need to do, is get over the resentment you have for your father and forgive him and allow him to enjoy his final years. Later on you’ll be glad you did, and if you don’t you’ll have to live with that the rest of your life. And, don’t try to deny that it won’t bother you. Lastly, be glad that there are mothers and fathers serving this country and fighting for your liberties.
