Why do people lie that the Founding Fathers were all atheists or all Christians?
Couple of things: 1) Not a Christian nation. There are no representative democracies in the Bible. Not one. People other than Christians have values. Really. 2) It doesn’t matter what the founding fathers were – The Constitution is NOT based on any one’s religion. If anything – credit goes to a Persian fella. 3) Jews were here before the Revolution. Before there was a Constitution. They were escaping persecution, too. 4) What people say and what people do are two entirely different things. Take a look around – I give you Jim Bakker, Jerry Falwell, Ted Haggerty, Jim Jones, etc. People can point and say “this one is such n such” or that one is “such and such” and it doesn’t mean a thing. It’s heresay. I’m an atheist. I’ve never tried to hijack the founding fathers – I don’t care what they were, if they prayed, if they didn’t pray. It is irrelevant. I don’t care if the President prays; as long as he doesn’t expect ME to pray right along with him or support a religion with tax dollars – wh
