Why do people wear red flowers during October and November?

0

They are poppies, they remind us of all the people who died in the 1st world war (which ended on the 11th of november) Poppies were the first flowers to grow on the war fields once the fighting had stopped… they are now a symbol of regeneration and new life etc.
