Why do Protestants accept each others conflicting beliefs but not Catholics?

I am Protestant, and I believe Catholics are Christian too. Don’t worry too much about what the other Protestants think. You are our sisters and brothers in Christ as well, and you are right that we should be united and not divided. The church is Christ’s body, and we should all be working together, not bickering over differences. As long as we all believe in the essentials, in the Trinity and that Jesus died for our sins and rose again from the dead, and as long as we repent of our sins, and accept Christ as our savior, we will be saved.
