A new study has just been commissioned by the University of California (at Davis) to study this mystery. The results will be a few years away, but this will be the first sanctioned, controlled study of its kind. Go to Allergies. I can tell you, from experience, my husband cannot be around normal cats for 5 minutes without an incredible amount of allergic reactions.
