Items may appear as black squares on Passport Charts if your video color depth is set to 256 colors or lower. To resolve this, you need to raise the color depth of your desktop to 16-bit color or higher. To change your video cards color depth, right click your desktop background and select Properties. Now, from within the Display Properties, choose the Settings tab and change the Colors setting to 16 bit or higher. Refer to your video card documentation for more information.
