Why do some lights and objects on my Passport Charts only appear as big black squares?
Items may appear as black squares on Passport Charts if your video color depth is set to 256 colors or lower. To resolve this, you need to raise the color depth of your desktop to 16-bit color or higher. To change your video card’s color depth, right click your desktop background and select ‘Properties.’ Within the ‘Display Properties,’ choose the ‘Settings’ tab and change the ‘Colors’ setting to 16 bit or higher.
