Why do some people disagree with animal rights?
There aren’t a lot of people out there who wish suffering upon animals in general but some people do think that eating meat, for example, is ethically correct and that there are some flaws to the arguments put forward by animal rights activists. Some of the main arguments against the animal rights movement include:
– Religion
According to the Bible, God gave humans jurisdiction over the animals on earth. Some interpret this passage in a way which allows the killing and eating of animals under gods law
– Disagreement with animal activist groups
Whilst some people are in favour of improving the legislation regarding animal welfare, a lot of people disagree with the actions of high profile organizations against animal cruelty.
