Why do some Republicans make everything about abortion?
You will notice that it is not just abortion, they argue about the 3 Gs, Gays, Guns, and God. It’s the only crutch they have and unfortunatley, many people in this country are gullible enough to follow their words when in reality, the three Gs and abortion, really have no impact on how to make our country prosperous, healthy, and successfull.
Yep, it’s a ‘flash point’, and fully ensconced into the conservative, over-zealous religious right of the Republican Party’s concept of most things political, although even The Founding Fathers had the commom sense to fully keep the church and state separate. Those people will have no part of that, and they DO vote. You’re going to hear it, whether you like it or not. Their ‘case’ is to get Roe v. Wade overturned, and one of your posters has brought up that subject. If these people want anything, they want that. They will continue shouting it from the proverbial rooftops, considering that it’s most likely that Obama will be president, and their hopes will be dashed, unless, in their minds, they feel that the ‘debate’ on abortion is kept ‘alive and well’ and they hope people will be swayed to vote for McCain, and he is FAR from their choice for the repub nomination. It’s a hopeless cause(the potential change back), but it’s THEIR cause, and the Constitution allows it as freedom of speec
