Why do the air compressors motors require magnetic starters and heaters?
Magnetic motor starters are used to provide thermal protection for our industrial air compressor motors. These provide a safety mechanism to prevent overheating of the electric motor and to ensure against motor damage due to low voltage or undue load imposed on the motor. It works in combination with the pressure switch and is designed to take the full load current. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the use of appropriate starter and heater combinations.
