Why do the funds in the new core lineup not have any ticker symbols or Morningstar ratings?

0

The new funds in the core lineup are not available to the general public, therefore they do not have ticker symbols and they are not rated by Morningstar. By using institutional separate accounts, the funds will incur lower investment management fees which should contribute to better performance than what would be available in comparably managed retail mutual funds. (See page 19 of your enrollment guide for details.) If you would still prefer to use retail mutual funds, you will be able choose from over 7,000 funds in the self-directed mutual fund window.
