Why do the Geodes Rattle?

0

The rattle in the geodes means they are hollow and not completely solid. This is the advantage of rattling geodes. There can be loose quartz crystals & other minerals that broke off inside the geode. Sometimes mud’s seep through the outer shell or cracks; then it dries up and rattles inside. These can be washed out with tap water to clean them up. There can be beautiful crystals inside, to an ugly duckling but each is fun to open! You will be the first to see the wonders inside! If any one has any questions feel free to email me.
