Why do tories criticise Labours defence spending when?
You wouldn’t need ANY of that equipment if Labour wouldn’t send our troops to wars and countries that are NONE of our business. Second point – the Tories were NOT responsible for soldiers burning to death – the Argies were! Third point – Defence is only needed if you are under attack – so no need to spend money when you are not being attacked. We are NOT at war (with the exception of Barmy Blair sending our troops to countries that DO NOT concern us). Fourth and most important point – you signed up to be a soldier – you knew the risk – you accepted those risks – now you moan about it. There is a saying where I come from – Hypocrisy has a name and it is you. ADDED: Sorry old bean – but you still did not answer the points raised above – the Tories were not responsible for those brave men dying – the Argies were for sending Exocet missiles – they are responsible for those deaths.
