Why do we need minerals?
Minerals are needed for almost every bodily function. They’re essential to enzymes, hormones, skeletal bones, teeth, fluids, proteins, DNA, and are critical for the utilization of vitamins. They are also electrical conductors without which communication between cells would not be possible. Optimal health can only be reached when all of the necessary nutrients are available. While we have an incredible capacity to adapt and compensate, there is a limit to what the body can maintain over the long term without proper mineralization. Often, by the time we see symptoms appear, mineral depletion has become quite severe.
