Why do we pray before the crucifix and the images and relics of the saints?
It’s a very interesting question. My mother and grandmother are very religious women. They both visit the church on Sundays, and they always tell me that I have to pray because it is the only possible way to achieve peace in your heart. However, I never understood why their house is full of images of saints, and they have a crucifix almost in every single room. Now, I realized that I need to address this question to them as well. Truthfully, I’m not very religious, and sometimes I send my prayers when I feel that I need to do it.
