Why do women turn in to Bridezilla when it comes to planning their wedding?

0

We hear so much about “bridezillas” that alot of women feel that means they are “owed” the chance to be a mega-witch to everyone they deal with while planning for their wedding. Society says that’s the norm, and gives these girls the impression that if they aren’t jerks to everyone then their wedding isn’t “about them” anymore. I get so sick of hearing girls say this is “my day” and I want it “my way”….its disgusting. Yes, it is your day so-to-speak, and you can pick things the way you want them….but nothing gives a person an excuse for becoming a monster to deal with. I pity their future husbands…if they are this bad engaged—wait until they get the free ride they’ll feel entitled to when pregnant. Watch out!

Girls dream about this day even when they’re very young. They get all these crazy ideas in their head that it is going to be PERFECT and it is going to be exactly like this or like that! How many women do you know of that, when day dreaming about their wedding plans, allow a margin for error like: * Trouble with one of the selfish bridesmaid * Groomsman or Bridesmaid exceedingly late or already drinking! * Flowers/Cake not being correct when they arrive * Rain interrupting an outside wedding * Gaining weight and the dress being snug Just to name a few things! The fact is, that women think everything is going to go how it is in their head and with any sign that it’s not going that way, they go NUTS! And not only that, look how much work all of this takes. You’re not only dealing with wedding and rehearsal dinner plans, but all of the rest of your normal life as well! Come on ladies, day dream with a margin for error! Has no woman learned from the past?
