Why do you think teens and tweens pick disney music and actors/actresses as their idols?
I loved the Twilight series and liked the movie, and I like some disney channel shows and stars. That doesn’t make me like everyone else. I don’t know why you think that just because someone likes something that many people like it makes them a conformist. Its not just because of looks, its about personality & maybe they idolize them because they want to be like them, they like their sense of humor, etc. Hey, it’s better than looking up to someone like Paris Hilton! Honestly I see nothing wrong with it, because teen girls obsess. It’s just what they do. They grow out of it. It’s harmless. I don’t have an idol, personally… I’m my own person, with my own traits and characteristics; and even though I may like a certain actress or a character from a book, it doesn’t mean I’ll try and act like them. What it all comes down to is, everything was created by someone- an artist, author, movie director. Bella Swan and Edward Cullen do not exist, so there is no reason to look up to them. Enjoy t
