Why does a county’s “most recent recording date” (as referenced below the selected county name in the Foreclosure Activity page) appear to be out of date?

The reference will display, for example, “Realist’s most recent recording date for this county is 03/13/2009”. That date could be several weeks or months prior to the current date. This date is actually the last transfer deed date for a given county presently rooted in the First American “Realist” application that includes public record sales information. First American plans to revise this display to reflect the last foreclosure recording date for a given county in a future Foreclosure Module upgrade.
