whats happening is the electric defroster is melting all that ice accumulation in the freezer, its draining through a tube into a pan either on top of the compressor or next to it with the condensor fan moving air over it; if you have not cleaned under the fridge or have kicked the pan out of place because the front grill piece is missing, the melted water will run all over the floor.  more
