Why does Canada have a thing about not letting drink drivers into their country for a vacation?
If you have demonstrated the willingness to endanger your own life and the life of others with your criminal recklessness, I would hope authorities would make sure you were not able to drive in your own country. But regardless of what authorities in your area choose to do or not to do, you’re not welcome here! By the way, contrary to what another respondent has suggested, Canada doesn’t have speed limits lower than other countries. On many major highways of Canada you are allowed to drive 110 or 120 kilometres an hour (that’s 68 to 75 miles per hour for the Americans). I seem to remember 55 mile per hour speed limits in many parts of the States.
