Why does e-mail from the July 4 holiday weekend appear to have arrived on July 5?

0

IS&T held delivery of e-mail received between 8 p.m. Friday, July 1 and 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, during the e-mail system migration to Office 365. All of this e-mail has been delivered to your new account. However, upon delivery, Office 365 dated the e-mail that was held during this timeframe as if it were received on July 5, regardless of when the e-mail was originally sent over the holiday weekend. Please be aware that the date and time displayed on this held e-mail, may not accurately reflect the date the e-mail was sent, but instead the date and time that the e-mail was copied to your new account mailbox.
